remove xbmc-pvr and install normal xbmc

    Create the file /etc/apt/preferences.d/xbmc with the following content:


    Code
    Package: *
Pin: release o=LP-PPA-team-xbmc
Pin-Priority: 1001


    Then you can update your XBMC Packages to the current stable version from Team XBMC like this:


    Code
    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
