E4RAT mit yavdr ?

  • Was wäre der Vorteil gegenüber ureadahead?

  • ureadahead: "It works by reading all the files required during boot and makes pack files for quicker access."
e4rat: "is a toolset to accelerate the boot process as well as application startups. Through physical file realloction e4rat eliminates both seek times and rotational delays. This leads to a high disk transfer rate."

Aus dem ArchWiki: Users of SSD drives do not benefit because there are no moving parts and thus (almost) no disk latency - Ureadahead might be worth looking at.

e4rat eliminates both seek times and rotational delay
