Two years ago I made some experiments with it and had made a package for this device, but I was unpleased with the hardware, it was too slow. So I stopped supporting it.
I don't have access to the hardware anymore, so I doubt that it will change anytime soon. If you are able to provide us with a working package we can add it to our repository.Gerald

AFAIK this plugin is not available in our PPAs and the mercurial repository listed on the project site I found is dead (http://www.fepg.org/hdhomerun/download/).
However there is a KODI-PVR-Addon for this device: https://www.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=87&t=18949
