Hallo,
Ich habe EasyVDR version 0.5 r.c. 1 und habe mir einen Windows manager für Xfce nachinstalliert. Ich habe den Kernel 2.6.22.5 und versucht den uvcvideo driver für eine logitech quickcam pro 9000 nach dieser Anleitung zu kompilieren.
Am Ende kam eine Fehlermeldung, dass eine conf.auto oder ähnlich nicht angelegt sei und der VDR hat mich aufgefordert ein make oldconfig und ein make prepare als Befehl zu geben.
Das lief scheinbar auch ohne Fehler (keine Meldung) durch.

. . . eingebe sehe ich das das entsprechende video modul nicht geladen wird.
In Skype wird als Video device auch nur meine ff.dvb-s und meine budget-dvb-t angezeigt.
Nach Recherche in den einschlägigen Foren, besteht bei meinem Kernel und der logitech ein Problem, dass trotz kompiliertem Modul dieses nicht geladen wird.
Kann ich meiner Installation gefahrlos einen neuen Kernel "unterschieben".
Wenn es nicht klappt steht mir noch ein Experimental VDR mit usb 2.0 zur Verfügung.
Um das Produktivsystem wäre es bei laufendem WLAN mit WPA über einen usb-stick eigentlich zu schade.
Wer kann mir einen Rat geben ?
Ich möchte den VDR zu gern als "Babycam" für unsere Zwillinge benutzen.
