vdr 1.3.44 softdevice xv Bild ohne Füße

Hallo,

ich habe nun schon x-mal alles versucht - komme aber nun nicht weiter ...

ich bekomme einfach kein Bild über das softdevice auf den Bildschirm ...

Hallo anso,

was für eine Grafikkarte hast du denn? Und welche Treiber benutzt du?
Poste bitte auch mal den Teil des Syslogs wo Vdr gestartet wird und die Plugins initialisiert werden, vielleicht steht das was nützliches dabei.

hallo,

alsooooo nun mal wieder ich ...

ich habe nun wieder unendliche versuche mit den unterschiedlichsten Treibern gemacht (radeon,vesa,fglrx), aber es funkt immer noch nicht richtig...

leider kann ich die beschriebene Ausgabe nicht mehr reproduzieren,aber egal, war ja eh nicht so toll ...

nun habe ich mit dem fglrx (aktuelle version 8.25.18-x86 von ati) so einigermaßen Erfolg, der xserver läuft ohne zu "zappeln" in 800x600@60 mode

das Bild vom softdevice geht auch so einigermaßen, die Systemlast geht durch "die Decke", nur das die "Füße" im Bild fehlen ist nun nicht mehr zu tolerieren :-((

also nochmal, mit der Maus finde ich die 800X600 auf meinen Fernseher (es bleibt noch ein kleiner Trauerrand, aber das wäre ok), das sichbare Bild vom softdevice ist dann etwas kleiner, eben so 768x576 auch nicht so toll aber ok

nur innerhalb der 768x576 fehlt ein guter Teil des Bildes von unten

hat keiner eine Idee was ich noch probieren könnte? Oder bin ich die einzigste die mit Softdevice und xv am Fernseher ein Bild haben will ... das kann ich mir nicht vorstellen ...

Hi,
habe seit heute das selbe Problem.

Nutze eine ATI 9600 mit DualHead Config (TMDS,CTV) und VDR mit softdevice unter XV.

Auf dem ersten Desktop bekomme ich das volle Bild, auf dem Fernseher (zweiter Desktop)
bekomme ich nur ca. 50% des Bildes.

Ich habe nun eine gute Stunde zig Optionen in der Xorg und SoftDevice Optionen ausprobiert, aber es will nicht :o(((

Ich habe das Gefühl, dass das Plugin intern irgendwie falsche Grössen ermittelt und man mit den Optionen nicht weiterkommt.

Hinweie, Lösungsvorschläge, etc. ?!?

So, noch ein wenig gebastelt und: es ist nicht das Softdevice Plugin !

Beim Mplayer habe ich die selben Effekte. D.h. es liegt entweder an X11/Xorg oder am Ati Treiber fglrx.

Gab es hierzu eine Lösung?

Ich habe x86_64 Gentoo mit Kernel 2.6.19-r5 auf Athlon 64 3200+, ATI 9700 mit fglrx (ati-drivers 3.32.5) und video overlay aktiviert.

Bilddarstellung auf Monitor perfekt, Bilddarstellung auf TV (720x576, PAL-B) über SVIDEO zeigt nur die obere Hälfte des Bilds. Wenn ich den VideoOverlay aus der xorg.conf auf off stelle, wird das Bild auch auf dem TV normal gezeigt, aber dann habe ich die Videobeschleunigung nicht und der Rechner rappelt. Mit Video-Overlay ist das Bild außerdem besser, besonders bei Laufschriften (Bloomberg).

Ich habe mal unterschiedliche Auflösungen auf dem TV ausprobiert, wobei die dann natürlich hoch/runter/rechts/links gerollt sind, dann wurde teilweise mehr vom Bild im Video-Overlay dargestellt. Insbesondere bei <gültige X-Auflösung>x480 habe ich teilweise FAST das ganze TV-Bild im Video-Overlay, aber eben viel größer als der Bildschirm, wie mit einer Lupen-Funktion.

Für Hilfe wäre ich auch dankbar, da ich trotz aller Unkenkommentare über ATI unter Linux lieber die ATI-KArte als eine Nvidia benutzen würde. Momentan habe ich zwar wieder eine Nvidia drin, aber ATI hat definitiv die bessere TV-Qualität und da der Linux-Rechner ein VDR-Rechner ist, ist die TV-Qualität schon wichtig.

Das 'Halbbild-Problem' bei ATI ist nicht so ganz neu

ich habe es in der Zeit, in der ich mich noch mit dem 'fglrx' herumgeaergert habe, nur exakt mit dieser einen Treiberversion wegbekommen:

ATI Proprietary Linux x86 Drivers for XFree86 / X.Org Version 8.27.10

alles vorher und nachher hat halbes Bild. Aber ohnehin besser (da alles OpenSource und ohne TV-OUT) sind 'fglrx'- freie Loesungen wie:

VGA-to-SCART-Adapter mit/für ATI-Radeon-Grafikkarten
[patch] RGB over VGA auf Pundit (IGP 9100) ab boot (fbdev)

Danke für den Hinweis, Sparkie!

Leider bekomme ich 8.27.10 mit dem 2.19er kernel auf Gentoo nicht mehr kompiliert. Ich denke, ich kehre zur Nvidia zurück (obwohl ich da das komische Ruckeln mit vdr-sxfe trotz video overlay und cpu-usage < 5% habe).
