[SOLVED] Disecq 2.0 , 4 in 1 out

  • Hi everyone,
I'm sorry to speak, via google traduction, but I am dunno ever German: / it might be funny :) My Config: VDR: 2.2.0 (from source with rpihddevice plugin) Hardware: RPI 2 & DVBSKY S960 OS : Raspbian jessie I have a problem with DiSEqC: on AA have Hotbird 13.0Eº on BB have astra 19.2Eº If I do not use DiSEqC, all channels OK, but with DiSEqC, many of them in OK, but others are not OK Example: Example : This channel works without DiSEqC:

    Code
CANAL + with the DiSEqC, is not working, but I have a signal (vdr-plugin-femon) This channel works with and without Disecq [code] CANAL + SPORT 2 /etc/vdr/diseqc.conf

    # Position A, option A S13e 11700 V 9750 TV W15 [E0 10 38 F0] W15 [E1 10 38 F0] W15 t S13e 99999 V 10600 tv W15 [E0 10 38 F1 ] W15 [E1 10 38 F1] W15 T S13e 11700 H 9750 t V W15 [E0 10 38 F2] W15 [E1 10 38 F2] W15 t S13e 99999 H 10600 t V W15 [E0 10 38 F3] W15 [E1 10 38 F3] W15 T # Position B, Option B S19.2E 11700 V 9750 TV W15 [E0 10 38 FC] W15 [E1 10 38 FC] W15 t S19.2E 99999 V 10600 tv W15 [E0 10 38 FD] W15 [E1 10 38 FD] W15 T S19.2E 11700 H 9750 t V W15 [E0 10 38 FE] W15 [E1 10 38 FE] W15 t S19.2E 99999 H 10600 t V W15 [E0 10 38 FF] W15 [E1 10 38 FF] W15 T Can be, my configuration is bad for Disecq, can you please help me? Can its polarization? H and V? Thanks, thanks a lot, merci beaucoup !! :)

  • Well maybe you try my config. Is perfect here. Pos A is 9°E and Pos B is 19,2°E

Just change the S9E to your S13E

  • Hi MegaVolt,

Thanks for taking some time on my thread,

i tried your config (replacing for 13E):

    Code
    S13E 11700 V 9750 t v W25 [E0 10 38 F0] W25 [E1 10 38 F0] W25 A W25 t
    S13E 99999 V 10600 t v W25 [E0 10 38 F1] W25 [E1 10 38 F1] W25 A W25 T
    S13E 11700 H 9750 t V W25 [E0 10 38 F2] W25 [E1 10 38 F2] W25 A W25 t
    S13E 99999 H 10600 t V W25 [E0 10 38 F3] W25 [E1 10 38 F3] W25 A W25 T

    S19.2E 11700 V 9750 t v W25 [E0 10 38 F4] W25 [E1 10 38 F4] W25 B W25 t
    S19.2E 99999 V 10600 t v W25 [E0 10 38 F5] W25 [E1 10 38 F5] W25 B W25 T
    S19.2E 11700 H 9750 t V W25 [E0 10 38 F6] W25 [E1 10 38 F6] W25 B W25 t
    S19.2E 99999 H 10600 t V W25 [E0 10 38 F7] W25 [E1 10 38 F7] W25 B W25 T

And now, everything on Hotbird 13 works fine, but i completely lost 19ºE.

    EDIT :

I took my old config for 19 and the new config for 13 and all works fine now.

    The winning config:

    [size=10]

    Code
    S13E 11700 V 9750 t v W25 [E0 10 38 F0] W25 [E1 10 38 F0] W25 A W25 t
    S13E 99999 V 10600 t v W25 [E0 10 38 F1] W25 [E1 10 38 F1] W25 A W25 T

    S13E 99999 H 10600 t V W25 [E0 10 38 F3] W25 [E1 10 38 F3] W25 A W25 T

    S19.2E 99999 V 10600 tv W15 [E0 10 38 FD] W15 [E1 10 38 FD] W15 T
    S19.2E 11700 H 9750 t V W15 [E0 10 38 FE] W15 [E1 10 38 FE] W15 t
    S19.2E 99999 H 10600 t V W15 [E0 10 38 FF] W15 [E1 10 38 FF] W15 T

You are awesome, thanks so much for your help :)

That was a quick theard ;)

Now i need to find out why VDR use 120% CPU on rpi 2 and i will be all done :P

    Thanks again ;)

  • Pleas also replace all F4 - F7 to your FC -FF (in the "[]" for 19.2)

    Should work:

    Code
    S13E 11700 V 9750 t v W25 [E0 10 38 F0] W25 [E1 10 38 F0] W25 A W25 t

Oups sorry we were editing our post at the same time :)

Yes indeed like this, everything is working like a charm now.

Lo of danke for your precious help Megavolt

  • Right, if it s working all is fine. Is a kind of try and error ;)
What about the "B" is it still working if you add that to the second block like in my example?

  • I added B like you described me, but i got segmentation fault after few second on one channel

  • Just go back to the last working conf.

BTW: i do not think the segfault is because of the diseq conf.

  • Actually even with the "so called working" version:

And the stream freeze after some time but no segmentation fault, thing that doesn't occur if i don't use diseqc.

You have W25 and i have W15, what is the difference ?

  • Take a look in the diseq.conf:

Wxx is the milliseconds to wait

Is the 19.2 working? Then adapt the 13E part to it. Maybe just remove The "A W25" parts?

  • Thanks MegaVolt,

I tried many combination, the wining one so far is :

    Code

I will keep on playing on different settings meanwhile, but its true that i dont receive
too well the signal on 13º, while withtout diseqc, its fine, its ok i will be playing a while,
    now that i understood the F0-F3 / FC-FF thing ;)

Thanks a lot for your precious help, very much appreciated ;)

  • You should check the first two 19,2 lines. For me they are wrong at the beginning. "TV" should be"t v" and "tv" should be "t v". Besides all configs i have seen begin with "tone off" (t).

Is also possible, that the second diseq block is not needed. In that case you can remove the "Wxx [E1...]" Blocks, but keep the first ones. There is also examples in the diseq conf file:
