VDR als UPnP/DLNA-Server ohne Hardware

Hallo,
ich möchte auf einer virtuellen Maschine VDR als UPnP-Server nutzen (Client ist ein Pinnacle Showcenter - evtl. wird es bald ein Samsung LCD). Der "Input" soll per Streamdev vom vorhandenen VDR-Server kommen. Nun weiß ich, daß VDR nicht startet, wenn keine DVB-Hardware vorhanden ist. Das kann man mit dem Softdevice-Plugin umgehen. Gibt es da Alternativen - Softdevice braucht ja doch einige Ressourcen, und das wäre vergeudet? Der Server soll ja nur streamen - mehr nicht.

Was wir in der Hochschule nutzen: Streamdev-Client + UPnP/DLNA-Plugin

Der Streamdev-Server ist ein Atom mit VDR 1.6.0 aufm Dach der Uni und der UPnP-Server läuft mit 1.7.8. Funktioniert bisher sehr gut.

Medion Digitainer; AsRock B75 Pro3-M, Celeron G540; Kingston Value 4GB
Samsung SpinPoint 250GB 2,5"; Samsung WriteMaster DVD-Brenner;
TT-S2-6400, 2x TT-S2-1600, Ubuntu 12.04 mit YaVDR-Paketen. VDR 1.7.27, UPnP/DLNA-Plugin

DVBLOOP gibt da auch noch, aber keine Ahnung wie da der Status ist:

Hallo,
ich schiebe mal den Thread wieder nach oben.
VDR habe ich kompiliert und versuche nun, nur mit dem streamdev-client zu starten - geht aber nicht:

Also das dummydevice-plugin probiert - das geht nicht zu kompilieren:

Soweit ich mir dazu was zusammensuchen konnte, ist es wohl ein 64Bit-Problem (und die Maschine ist 64Bit)

Ist schon eine Weile her, aber ich habe nun mal wieder etwas Zeit gehabt, zu experimentieren. VDR ohne DVB-Device geht mit dem dummydevice-Plugin. Streamdev-Client reicht da nicht, da startet VDR nicht.
