Hi dacorsa,

there are some changes in the VDR configuration and scripts.
The best way is to reinstall VDR

rename your x-vdr folder
untar the new x-vdr
copy files and setup.conf from the renamed x-vdr to the new one
chmod and execute x-vdr.sh

start the installation and backup your VDR.

but, wait for tomorrow and x-vdr-0.1.12

ich bekomm immer obige fehlermeldung.

hab ein kanotix-easter-ed. neu aufgesetzt und x-vdr gestartet.

hab ich da was vergessen, meine letzte neuinstallation liegt schon ne gute zeit zurück...

Hi Chris,

ja, Lirc müsste nach einem Neustart sofort laufen.
Lirc muss aber mit dem selben gcc übersetzt werden wie der Kernel.

Was das bedutet weis ich nicht. Die Meldung bekomme ich auch öfter, aber auch ohne den VDR oder x-vdr. Mit dem restart hat das nichts zu tun.

Du must was vergessen haben,

Hast du LCDd mit lcdproc-plugin am laufen? Das macht manchmal zicken.

Was steht im syslog?

Nach einem Kernel-Update hast du das Problem sowieso, da die Module in /lib/modules/$(uname -r) abgelegt werden. Eventuell würde hier noch ein Symlink reichen.
Lirc möchte aber auch, das die Module mit der gleichen gcc Version erstellt werden, mit der auch der Kernel erstellt wurde. Wenn du also bei einem dist-upgrade eine neue gcc Version installierst und dann die Lirc-Module erstellst, werden diese mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinlichkeit nicht laufen.

x-vdr-0.6.12

Änderungen an x-vdr.sh, x-vdr.conf, functions, runvdr
Neue Plugins:
- digicam (1.0.1) - Plugin to access a digital camera
- pin (0.0.20) - Pin code plugin
- recstatus (0.0.3) - recording status monitor
Updates bei folgenden Plugins:
- filebrowser - skripte und configs werden jetzt installiert
- softdevice-cvs-20060831
Neu: vidix-cvs-20060831

Die Ausgabe über vidix, kann zur Zeit nur mit VDRUSER=root benutzt werden!

Kleine Anleitung wie ihr mit softdevice für eure TFTs ein OSD mit höherer Auflösung einrichtet.

Vor der Installation die entsprechenden Patche kopieren:

cd /usr/local/src/x-vdr/plugins/softdevice/bigscreen
cp keymacro64.diff /usr/local/src/x-vdr/vdr/patches
cp vdr-osd_1280x768.diff /usr/local/src/x-vdr/vdr/patches
cp softdevice-1280x768.diff ../patches

Nach der Installation OSD einstellen, fertig

Wer das dann noch per FB zwischen TV und TFT umschalten will, findet in /usr/local/src/x-vdr/plugins/softdevice/bigscreen/keymacros.conf eine
Vorlage. Diese muss allerdings selber angepasst werden.

erstemal danke fürs neue skript.

hab noch kein glück mit vidix:
Muss ich für vidix xine abwählen?
Auf welcher konsole läuft vidix?
wie kann man vidix testen?

Muss für vidix die auflösung des x-servers eine bestimmte auflösung haben? Hab mich noch nicht getraut mir den x-server wieder zu zerschiessen...

Moin,

wenn du in /etc/default/vdr

1 2 3 4 5	VDRUSER="root" # softdevice softdevice="on" softdevice_args="-vo vidix:"

... setzt und den vdr neustartest sollte es schon laufen.

vidix kann mit xserver betrieben werden, muss aber nicht.

libgphoto2-dev steht in der apt.sh. Bei einem Update muss es voher von Hand installiert werden (oder die apt.sh durchlaufen lassen).

digicam konnte ich selber nicht testen, da meine Kamera nicht unterstützt wird

meine cam steht auch nicht auf der seite von libgphoto aber sie wird erkannt. bloss gemountet ist sie noch nicht, oder sie geht doch nicht.

lsusb erkennt sie jedenfalls

Jetzt habe ich doch wieder was vergessen

Ob das bei dir jetzt hilft weiss ich nicht, aber in /usr/lib/vdr/scripts/vdrmount muss das eject auskommentiert werden. Sonst verschluckt sich das Plugin:

Sorry, bin noch nicht ganz wach.
digicam benutzt das mount Skript ja garnicht.
Das oben ist beim Image-Plugin gewesen.

softdevice

softdevice ist geladen wie oben von dir beschrieben und auch vdruser ist "root"

ich bekomme bei aktiviertem softdevice keine fehlrmeldung und der startvorgang des vdr[ bricht ab mit bei initialisieren des plugins ohne fehlermeldung

is possibile see free HDTV channels and 4:2:2 feed with x-vdr ??

i have Tecnotrend FF v2.3, can you tell what software i must install in x-vdr to see that channels?

softdevice kann ich mit folgendem Log in der konsole beobachten.

dies wiederholt sich bei jedem start des vdr der immer beim initialisieren des pluginshöngenbleibt

Habe gerade noch mal probiert und bei mir geht es mit und ohne xserver ( /etc/inittab -> id:3:initdefault: )

/etc/default/vdr ist in ordnung?
vidix ist installiert und softdevice danach neu übersetzt worden?

Install the video-driver for your GK and then install x-vdr with xine or softdevice.

If you post a channels.conf entry for an working hdtv channel (astra) and I try this with my Setup.
